We invite you to our celebration and recognition of Greenwood’s history related to the Boeing B-25 Bomber, and in honor of the veterans who have selflessly served our country to protect the freedom that we and our allies love.
The B-25 Bomber played an important role in our victories in WWII. During WWII our Greenwood County Airport, then named the Coronaca Army Air Field (CAAF), served as a subsidiary base to the Greenville Army Air Field (now Donaldson Airport).
