Presenter: Claudia Smith Brinson
In her new book, “Stories of Struggle,” longtime journalist Claudia Smith Brinson chronicles twenty pivotal years of petitioning, picketing, boycotting, marching, and holding sit-ins. Through her extensive research and interviews with more than one hundred fifty civil rights activists, Brinson will share intimate stories of courage and conviction that highlight the progress achieved by nonviolent activism while also revealing the often violent resistance to change.
