The Hagood Mill Historic Site is pleased to announce our first event for scrapbookers, paper crafters, and card makers – Making Memories – National Scrapbook Day Event. On Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 9 am-5 pm, you can join fellow croppers at the Heritage Pavilion to spend the day making memories and putting memories in your scrapbook.
Paper craft vendors will be on site so that you can shop for new items. There will be a paper swap table so that you can leave papers/stickers/die cuts/etc. that you don’t use and possibly find something that you will use. All items left on the swap table at the end of the day will be donated to a local charity.
If you like games and prizes as you crop, you will want to be here for that. There will be a variety of games with the chance to win prizes. You will have to be present to win! Drinks and snacks will be available for sale at the event or you can bring your own! You will be able to leave and return if you want to get lunch.
The Heritage Pavilion at the Hagood Mill Historic Site is a covered area with lots of room to spread out. While you are on the grounds of the Hagood Mill Historic Site, we encourage you to cross the street to the historic side of the site to check out the mill, historic cabins, the Petroglyph Center, and the mill mercantile where you can buy corn meal and grits!
