Guest Speaker Mr. Abdullah Mayar

·      Abdullah Mayar was born in Afghanistan 1961. While in high school he had to leave the country after the communist takeover (1978) because his father was the president of Kabul electricity and communists were imprisoning all high-level government employees. He went to Germany with the family because his father had his degree from Germany with good knowledge of the German society and had friends there to help him settle and find a job. He finished schooling in Germany with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, then moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in 1994. He has been living and working in the USA since then.
