    $10 – $17

The first brand-new addition to our 2022 lineup is the play Barbecue by Robert O’Hara, the Tony®-nominated director of Slave Play currently running at Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre. We’re excited to welcome DeBryant Johnson, who recently appeared in Market’s Spelling Bee, to the director’s chair for this thrilling, extremely original piece. “I’m so excited to take on this electrifying piece that unleashes a battle between love and loyalty,” Johnson says.

Barbecue centers around the O’Mallerys, a dysfunctional group of siblings who come together for a park barbeque in order to stage an emergency intervention for their sister Barbara. Everything is not as it seems, and the plot is full of surprising twists and turns that you’ll just have to see to believe!
