Greenwood Transportation Map

A map was provided with specific areas highlighted for participants to indicate where they felt transportation was most needed, and their responses were color-coded by their sector (most, however, did not fall into sector categories and were simply interested citizens).

The following is the break-down of locations selected, in descending order of number of votes received:

• Uptown: 28 (19 interested citizens, 3 education, 4 medical, 2 retail)
• Bypass 25 Corridor: 15 (10 interested citizens, 3 education, 1 retail, 1 medical)
• Hwy 246 Corridor: 10 (9 interested citizens, 1 education)
• Emerald Road/Piedmont Tech: 10 (8 interested citizens, 1 education, 1 medical)
• Lander University: 9 (6 interested citizens, 3 education)
• Self Regional Genetics Center: 8 (2 interested citizens, 1 education, 5 medical)
• Ware Shoals: 6 (5 interested citizens, 1 medical)
• North Greenwood Industrial Park: 5 (3 interested citizens, 2 education)
• Ninety Six: 2 interested citizens
• Troy: 1 interested citizen
