Culinary Medicine: Change Your Life Through Food
Culinary Medicine empowers people to take control of their health through the food they prepare and eat—supporting wellness, disease management and prevention. Spartanburg Regional Health System has revamped the kitchen at the Gibbs Cancer Center to support their Culinary Medicine Program, and they have created a YouTube Channel where you can learn how to cook foods that support healthy living.

Carolina Days are June 27-July 5
South Carolina played a pivotal role in the American Revolution, witnessing more Revolutionary War engagements than any other state. The Battle of Sullivan’s Island on June 28, 1776 marked one of the first significant victories for the Patriot cause. Each year, Carolina Day honors that legacy, and in 2026, its anniversary is even more meaningful as it coincides with the nation’s 250th birthday celebration.
