“A Local Listen” will be an intimate, evening concert in the courtyard at The Arts Center of Greenwood featuring Upstate musical artists, Lisa Stubbs, and Kelly Jo Ramirez with Phat Lip Trio. Attendees are invited to get cozy on the outdoor furniture while indulging in live music, libations, local food truck fare, and local art on view in the main gallery!
Lisa Stubbs is a Greenville-based singer-songwriter, and is one half of the folk duo, Mourning Dove. Lisa has been featured in numerous projects including The Restoration’s “Honor The Father” and lends her charming voice regularly to Darby Wilcox and the Peep Show. She is often described as a “mellow fingerpicker with a mellifluous sixties sound and songwriting style,” and possesses a “haunting sound that blends contemporary Americana with 1960s and early ’70s psychedelic folk,” according to GoUpstate.
Phat Lip Trio is a Greenville-based concoction of American pop/rock and Colombian roots rhythms, led by singer-songwriter-guitarist, Kelly Jo Ramirez. The trio includes Matt Dingledine on lead guitar and Bert Brown on percussion.
