The Cyrill-Westside Library is thrilled to welcome bestselling award-winning author Ron Rash for an evening of conversation, reading and book signing.
Rash is the author of the 2009 Pen/Faulkner finalist and New York Times bestseller Serena in addition to six other prizewinning novels. He has also published several books of poetry and short story collections, among them Burning Bright, which won the 2010 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award.
Through his poetry and prose, Rash conveys the beauty and brutality of the small towns and mountains of Appalachia, as well as the heroism and harshness of the human spirit.
