On March 27, the BMW CCA Foundation Museum in partnership with Cars & Coffee of the Upstate, is hosting Foundation Food Drive a Cars and Coffee for all car lovers! The day’s objective is twofold – collect more food than the weight of a BMW Alpina XB7 and have a great time! That’s collecting over 5,800 pounds of road-hugging food to help the Greer Community Ministries!
This event has plenty to offer:
– The BMW Performance Center will be on-site to explain the many programs they offer. They have kindly donated two passes to a Performance Drive Experience. Everybody who donated food gets a raffle ticket!
– The BMW Factory HR team will be on-site to recruit technical minds for positions in the factory. If you have a desire to work for the best, this is a great opportunity.
– Tour the BMW Foundation Museum – the current exhibition has twenty-four pre/post-war BMW cars and motorcycles. Since this is indoors, we limit the number of people that can visit the museum at any one time. There is a reduced $5 rate for those who donate food.
– See the rare BMW Alpina XB7 and new M4. The 613 hp Alpina XB7 can accelerate 0-60 mph in 4 seconds flat, while carrying a family in ultimate comfort. The new BMW M4 is a bit quicker, with 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. It’s a lot more compact!
– And of course, all the hundreds of cars scheduled to be at the Foundation for the event.
