A Musical Breeze on Flute and Keys!
Join us as we enjoy the music of flutist Caroline Ulrich and pianist Lillian Buss Pearson. This joyful musical friendship began at Florida State University in 1990 and continues to delight audiences today. Caroline, a founding member of the FLUTE4 ensemble, recently premiered an exciting work by composer Thomas McColley titled “Behind the Eye” with the group. Caroline has performed with several US orchestras and is currently the principal flute for the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.
Lillian Buss Pearson has performed solo and collaboratively throughout the continental US, England, Costa Rica and China. Lillian has a keen interest in historical performance and has studied that using the fortepiano and harpsichord. She is the official pianist for the International Flute Festival in Costa Rica and has performed there for the past five years. Dr. Pearson has actively pursued training in the Alexander Technique for 15 years and is especially interested in its integration with musical performance. Tickets $15 Adults & $5 Students.
