Design Camp: Designing Marvel

Have you ever wondered how some of your favorite Marvel movies, including Black Panther, Spider-Man, The Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy, might look if they went from the big screen to the Broadway stage? In Designing Marvel, Market Theatre’s design/tech camp, you’ll discover the process of creating an epic stage production and explore all aspects of theatrical design including scenic, lighting, costume, makeup, and prop design. Along the way, we’ll learn and practice technical theatre skills including stage management, carpentry, and more. Whether you’re an artist that’s hoping to hop into the world of theatrical design, an actor wanting to gain backstage experience, or just a Marvel fan wanting a super peek behind the curtain, this camp is for you!
