Furman Symphonic Band Concert

November 12, 2021@7:00 pm-8:30 pm

The Symphonic Band will perform traditional and contemporary concert band music including Sousa’s “The Freelance March,” Persichetti’s “Symphony for Band,” Thomas’ “Mother of a Revolution,” Giroux’s “Bookmarks from Japan,” and Grainger’s “Shepherd’s Hey.”

The Furman Symphonic Band is comprised of 70 of the finest wind and percussion students on campus. They are conducted by Dr. Sue Samuels, Professor of Music, Director of Bands.
