Sit back and groove to some great jazz from two great artists. On piano, our local friend Keith Davis. Keith has distinguished himself as a jazz pianist, composer and educator during his career of 40 years. He has toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Artie Shaw Orchestra and Matt “Guitar” Murphy (Blues Brothers). Keith currently performs all over the Southeast and in 2017 was inducted into the Coastal Jazz Hall of Fame at the 2017 Savannah Jazz Festival. In his capacity as an educator, he serves as an Adjunct instructor of Jazz Piano at Furman University. Local performing partners include his Trio and the Greenville Jazz Collective. In addition to performing Keith has recorded 2 CDs of original music, one with Trio and one of solo piano compositions.
Neal Starkey is an American Bassist from NY, currently residing in Atlanta. He has performed with many notable names such as Sonny Stitt, Duke Pearson, Barney Kessel and many more. Starkey has recorded with Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams and Freddie Hubbard with the CBS Jazz All Stars. Neal often works with notable Southeastern Jazz musicians and has extensive studio recording experience.
