CONNECT 2019: A Collective Call to Action!


Health equity exists when everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be healthy including those who have experienced socioeconomic disadvantage, historical injustices, pay inequity, and other avoidable systemic inequalities. Through collective will, voice, and action, communities across South Carolina are working to influence policy changes, practices, and programs to support health improvement.

Join us to learn about the transformative and collaborative work occurring in Spartanburg and Anderson. We will also discuss our statewide call to action the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina.

CONNECT is an annual diversity and inclusion symposium hosted by AnMed Health in partnership with local business, industry and civic allies.

It’s the night before Christmas and everyone is sick in bed. All except brave Madeline, who is up and about and feeling just fine. Taking care of eleven little girls and Miss Clavel is hard work, but when Madeline finds help from a magical merchant, the girls embark on a Christmas journey that will surely make them forget their sniffles and sneezes.

Greenwood Performing Arts presents Farewell Angelina

Named after a haunting Bob Dylan song, Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group with four powerhouse vocalists, dynamic songwriters and accomplished multi-instrumentalists. Their stellar blend of heart-stopping harmonies over blazing double violins and guitars has earned soaring praise across the board, including being named by Rolling Stone’s “New Artists You Need to Know”.

Christmas with the Annie Moses Band

The Annie Moses Band returns to Greenwood to perform their famous Christmas special with a unique blend of roots music and classical polish. The Juilliard-trained siblings have produced Telly-nominated PBS specials and performed on stages as diverse as Carnegie Hall and The Grand Ole Opry.
