What is the Ignition Fund?
The Ignition Fund is a financial reserve that will be used to move initiatives forward without the delay of program-specific fundraising.
Ten at the Top is a long-term strategic regional capacity builder and not an immediate programmatic service provider. Because of this, once an actionable plan has been incubated through Ten at the Top’s collaborative process, a subject-specific partner must be found to lead and fund long-term implementation. This often results in a delay as projects attempt to move from incubation to action while resources are identified.
The Ignition Fund will allow Ten at the Top to help jump start projects. The Ignition process is faster, more efficient, and more impactful. Through generous donations from regional partners, we will maintain a dedicated fund or this purpose, controlled by a committee within the Ten at the Top Board of Directors.
In consultation with organization staff, the committee will have the discretion to provide funds to projects that have gone through our collaborative process and are at a stage where they are in need of funds to advance. The funding allotments will be determined based on project needs, anticipated
impacts, and long-term ownership plans.

1. Progress from planning to implementation faster
2. Provide a greater opportunity for impact
3. Increase engagement in the process
