Music From the Hills (A Celtic Christmas) is an evening of traditional Scottish harmonies, featuring professional Harpist Sue Richards and Celtic Guitarist Robin Bullock. It's purpose is to bring ancient cultures to this modern era for enjoyment and enlightenment. Holiday Movie Double Feature, Mauldin

DECEMBER 2 | The first movie night will kick off with our first short movie, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, where a grumpy hermit hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville. We’ll follow it up with a showing of Disney’s The Santa Clause, a film where a man inadvertently becomes the new Santa Claus.
 

DECEMBER 9 | The second movie night will kick off with a short movie, Disney’s Prep & Landing, in which one of Santa’s elves gets a new rookie partner and has to relearn the Spirit of Christmas and the importance of being an elf in Santa’s Prep and Landing elite unit. We’ll follow it up with a showing of the Arthur Christmas, in which Santa’s clumsy son Arthur sets out on a mission with St. Nick’s father to give out a present they misplaced to a young girl in less than 2 hours.

A Service of Lessons and Carols, Central

Always a campus and community favorite, Southern Wesleyan University’s Departments of Music and Spiritual Life combine to present the celebration of Christ’s birth through scripture and song. Admission is free.
